The main principal parts of a ship are: the hull, some decks and deck superstructure. The hull is the body of the ship. It is usually painted grey, white or black. There are two lines on the hull of each ship. One line shows the draught of the ship without cargo in her holds and the other shows the draught with a full cargo.
